Teenager appears in court after attempted murder of schoolboy in Kilmarnock
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection.

A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court, charged with attempted murder, after another teenager was seriously injured in Kilmarnock town centre.
The 14-year-old is in a serious but stable condition in hospital in Glasgow, after an incident on Soulis Street on Monday evening.
The accused, who cannot be named because of his age, is accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.
He made no plea at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court earlier, and was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear in court again in eight days.
