Two teenage girls have been charged with attempted murder after a man was found seriously injured in Paisley.

The 39-year-old sustained head injuries when he was attacked while walking on Forbes Place at 8.25pm on Saturday.
Police said on Wednesday that the injured man "remains in a serious but stable condition" in the town's Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The girls, aged 15 and 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
They have been charged with attempted murder and assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and danger of life.
Both made no plea or declaration and the eldest was remanded in custody while the youngest was released on bail.
Their case was continued for further examination and both are expected to appear in court again next week.
