Police have charged a 19-year-old man in connection with the death of two pensioners at their home in Livingston on boxing day.

The couple, Denis and Mary Fell, were discovered shortly before midnight on Sunday December 26th in Raeburn Rigg.

Both were aged 73.

The man, named by Police as 19-year-old Tobyn Salvatore (Aka Jay Fell), will appear in at Livingston Sheriff Court tomorrow (Wednesday December 29).

DCI Kevin Houliston from Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr and Mrs Fell and everyone affected by this tragic incident.

"A continued presence may be seen in the area as officers continue with their enquiries but this was a contained incident and there was no risk to the wider public.”
