A teenager has been charged after allegedly attempting to get ticketless fans into the Scottish League Cup final by charging at police officers.

Luke Anderson is being accused of conducting himself in a disorderly manner on February 26 2023.

The court papers say the 19 year old and others overcame security staff outside Hampden Park before the Old Firm final earlier this year.

It is claimed this was a deliberate attempt to get fans who did not have tickets into the stadium.

The charge says Anderson acted aggressively towards police officers and failed to obey their instructions, as well as attempting to commit breach of the peace.

Anderson denied the single charge at Glasgow Sherriff Court and the trial was set for October by Sherriff Barry Davis.

Anderson was granted bail with a special condition not to attend any football matches at Hampden Park.
