Supreme court rules against UK government's Rwanda asylum scheme
Five judges at the UK's highest court have found in favour of lawyers representing migrants
Scotland's First Minister has called for the UK Government's Rwanda policy to be "scrapped" after the ruling at the Supreme Court.
Speaking to our Political Editor Alan Smith shortly after the ruling, Mr Yousaf said: "Everyone agrees we have to have an appropriate asylum system.
"One that doesn't stop asylum seekers having the right to work.
"One that doesn't involve them ending up in Destitution."
Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Humza Yousaf said: "Not only is the UK Govt's policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda morally repugnant, but it has now been confirmed as unlawful too.
"The policy must be scrapped."
