Live music series ‘Summer Sessions’ will take on five new destinations in England and Wales next year after a decade of success in Scotland.
The event, which has previously hosted the likes of Biffy Clyro, Kings of Leon, Eminem and Avicii, will expand beyond Glasgow and Edinburgh to include Bedford, Chepstow, Derby, Plymouth and Southampton.
The first headliners have been revealed as Jess Glynne and Nile Rodgers.
Fans back home in Scotland are already being promised a jam-packed season of events for 2024, with organisers DF Concerts confirming Summer Sessions will return to Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.
It comes as the team behind TRNSMT festival confirm it will return to Glasgow Green next July.
Peter Taylor, co-founder of events promotors Cuffe & Taylor, said: “The runaway success of Summer Sessions in Scotland has proven the event is one which resonates with music fans and artists alike, whilst also bringing brilliant economic benefits to host cities.
“We see an incredible opportunity to deliver world-leading live shows all around the UK under the Summer Sessions banner, and very much expect the events to become regular fixtures in music fans’ calendars. Bedford, Chepstow, Derby, Plymouth and Southampton - we’ll see you in summer 2024.
"We can’t wait.”
