STV staff and Pacific Quay residents evacuated due to "suspicious" vehicle

The surrounding area has also been cordoned off by police

Staff and residents have been told to move to the other side of the river

The STV news building in Glasgow has been evacuated following the discovery of a "suspicious" vehicle.

Nearby residents have also been told to leave this evening due to what Clyde 1 News understands is a credible threat from a parked car.

The Squinty Bridge has been closed

Police have cordoned off the surrounding area and have closed the Squinty Bridge and Govan Road.

We understand the Scotland Tonight programme has also been pulled from schedules because of the incident.
