St Vincent Street crash victim named as Chinenye Vera Okonkwo

The 33-year-old's family is paying tribute to her.

A woman who died in a crash on St Vincent Street in Glasgow last week has been named at 33-year-old Chinenye Vera Okonkwo from Nigeria.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 7.40pm on Thursday February 2.

Her family has paid tribute to her: “Chinenye was a wonderful, kind, intelligent young woman with a strong faith in God. She had a passion to succeed and whatever obstacles she faced were overcome.

“She was very family-orientated and always had time for everyone. Our lives will never be the same without her.”
