South Lanarkshire College welcomes new chair
Andy Kerr is the former MSP for East Kilbride
South Lanarkshire College has announced its appointment of Andy Kerr as its new Chair.
The college have said Kerr will bring a wealth of experience has he is the former MSP for East Kilbride and former Minister of Finance and for Health and Wellbeing.
He is currently Chair of Quality of Scotland and serves on social care and disability boards and a number of Scottish Government committees.
Andy Kerr said: "As an advocate and supporter of South Lanarkshire College over many years I am delighted to be part of the bigger mission of changing the lifetime opportunities of students and support the growth of our economy.
"For someone born and brought up in East Kilbride, I am delighted to have been appointed the new Chair of South Lanarkshire College."
