Third day of snow shutdown for Glasgow

Glasgow and the west of Scotland has been downgraded to a Yellow weather warning, however strong wind are still causing problems with drifting even when no fresh snow is falling.
The first flights have taken off from Glasgow Airport this morning after it was closed yesterday following the worst snowfall in it's history. There is still cancellations despite continuous work throughout the night to clear runways.
Passengers have been warned to only travel to the airport once they have checked the status of their flight with the airline.
Transport Minister Humza Yousaf said roads teams will need time to make routes safe even after the Met Office snow warning expires at 10am and advised motorists to avoid travel.
ScotRail has confirmed a limited number of lines will be running throughout the day, with some services from Glasgow and Edinburgh stations beginning to run from 10am onwards. Virgin Trains has said it's west coast route to Scotland could be closed while is eastern line will be limited.
Most schools across Glasgow and the west are closed again today.
Troops were called into help transport medical staff into work and home from the two biggest hospitals in Edinburgh last night.
Princess Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow also saw tiles fly from its roof under pressure from the extreme weather.
Witnesses due at 15 courts in Scotland have been told not to attend after trials were cancelled over safety fears.
Courts affected include Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Hamilton, Alloa, Stirling, Falkirk, Paisley, Dumbarton, Airdrie, Greenock, Perth and Coatbridge
