Simple Minds have announced a homecoming concert at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park, as part of the 2025 Glasgow Summer Sessions.

The 80s rockers will be joined by Future Islands, KT Tunstall and Hamish Hawk on Friday 27th June, for what will be their biggest headline show since 1991’s Real Life tour.

Front man Jim Kerr said: “Simple Minds live in Glasgow, the city that made us, is always a glorious occasion for both band and fans. Live in Bellahouston Park is destined to be all of that and more…It cannot come soon enough!”

The show will kick off the band’s 2025 tour, with dates already announced for the UK, Ireland and Italy, and more still to be announced around the world.

They are joined on the line-up for the 2025 Glasgow Summer Sessions by the likes of Blossoms, Rag’n’Bone Man, Sting and Stereophonics.
