A seven year-old boy from Falkirk stole the show at last night's Pride of Scotland Awards for supporting his brother who was born with spina bifida.

Theo Hardie has raised thousands of pounds for charity and was given the prize for 'Young Fundraiser' at the star-studded bash in Glasgow.

His brother Jude also has hydrocephalus and has limited use of his legs.

Theo took it upon himself to raise thousands of pounds for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland by running and cycling.

He told Clyde 1: "I cycled then I ran and cycled again.

"I just kept pushing myself to keep going.

"I'm still raising as much money as possible for a trike."

Other winners at last night's star-studded event in Glasgow included 26-year-old Shane Lee who has autism and landed his dream job working in M&S.

He thought he might never be able to hold down a job because of his condition but he was described as being a huge hit with staff and customers.

Twenty-six year-old Shane Lee has autism and landed his dream job in M&S.

Shane told Clyde 1: "When I got given the golden envelope to say I was a winner, I just let out a huge gasp - it was an amazing feeling."
