Emergency services at scene of serious Broomielaw crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash between an HGV and a cyclist on Glasgow's Broomielaw.

The road is closed in both directions and police are warning it will remain shut for some time.

They were called at around 10.10am and there is currently no update on the condition of those involved.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance following a serious crash on Broomielaw, Glasgow, which police were called to at 10.10am on Friday, 27 January, 2023.

“The crash involved a cyclist and a HGV.

“Emergency services remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.”
