Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Paisley.
Around 2.30pm on Wednesday, 2 March, 2022, a 25-year-old man was assaulted on Renfrew Road, by another man.
He suffered serious head injuries which required treatment at the Royal Alexandria Hospital.
Detectives are keen to trace a man described to be in his early 20s, of slim build, tall and wearing dark clothing. He is believed to have been a passenger within a red Vauxhall Astra.
Detective Constable Jade Clark from CID in Paisley said "We are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify the man responsible for this unprovoked assault.
“The victim suffered serious injuries as a result.
“The suspect then fled the scene in the Red Vauxhall Astra.
“We are appealing for witnesses in the area around the time of the attack who observed anybody acting suspiciously and would ask any motorists in the area to check dash-cam footage to see if they captured anything which may be useful to our investigation.
