Can you help police find those responsible for a serious assault in Greenock?

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Greenock.

The incident happened around 10.30am on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025, on East Shaw Street.

Emergency services attended, and a 49-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.

Detective Sergeant Alison Eadie said: "Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident are ongoing, and we urge anyone who may have information to come forward.

"If you have CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage from the area, please review it and share anything of note with officers."
