Second man charged following death of Neil Canney in Greenock
Two men are due to appear in Greenock Sheriff Court today
Police have arrested a second man, following a fatal shooting in Greenock.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Neil Canney.

37-year-old Neil Canney was found seriously injured in Nairn Road around 1.15am on Tuesday, 28 February 2023.
He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he died a short time later.

The 28-year-old is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.
A 22-year-old man has already been arrested, and charged is also due to appear.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
