Second fire in a year at former Maryhill pub

A disused pub in Maryhill's gone on fire for the second time this year.

Crews were called out to the blaze at the Old Maryhill Tarvern in Cumlodden Drive just before 9.00pm.

They were there all through the night tacking the fire which started on the ground floor.

A contraflow is in place on part of Maryhill Road as a result – if you need to go that way this morning, you might want to check your journey before you set off.
