Second Arrest After Clydebank Death

A second arrest has been made in connection with the death of a man found seriously injured in his Clydebank home.

A second arrest has been made in connection with the death of a man found seriously injured in his Clydebank home.

John McCallum, 49, was discovered in his property in Meldrum Street, Whitecrook, at about 9.30pm on December 18.

He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow's Western Infirmary where he died two days later.

A 42-year-old man has been detained in custody and is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.

Earlier this month a 21-year-old man was arrested and detained in connection with the death.
