There is an appeal for information in the search for a man missing from Ayr.

Alexander Singerman, who lives in Glasgow but works in Ayr, was last seen around 11.10am on Wednesday 10th May.

He was walking near to the Agricultural College on the B743 at Auchincruive, heading towards St Quivox.

The 32 year-old is described as 6ft tall with short black hair, brown eyes, clean shaven and a sallow complexion. When last seen he was wearing a red and black check ‘lumber’ style jacket.

Sergeant Chris Cochrane at Ayr Police Station said: “Mr Singerman has not been in contact with anyone since he was last seen on Wednesday morning and as such his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his well-being.

“Anyone who has seen Mr Singerman since Wednesday morning or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact Police at Ayr immediately. I also urge Mr Singerman himself to contact either his family or police to let us know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should contact police at Ayr via 101.
