Scottish Women in Business awards return to Glasgow after five years
It's the first time the event has run since before lockdown
The Scottish Women in Business (SWIB) Awards is to return to Glasgow after a five-year hiatus.
The event celebrates females in business across Scotland as well as celebrating and recognising supporters and champions of Scottish women in business.
It will be the first award ceremony held by SWIB since before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Finalists from across the country have been announced ahead of the event, which takes place at The Corinthian in Glasgow next month.
The ceremony will also raise funds for this year’s Scottish Women in Business charity partner, Baby Loss Retreat.
SWIB President Sarah Heaney said: “We’re delighted to be back hosting our first awards since before lockdown…..and it’s been wonderful to see the volume and quality of entries this year.
"We’d like to congratulate all of our finalists and look forward to celebrating with them all on the day.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event and a great chance for Scotland’s women in business - and those who recognise and support them - to connect, network, collaborate and celebrate each other.
"The community of women business owners and leaders in Scotland is fast-growing and it’s a joy to be part of a movement in which women are so supportive of each other.
"We look forward to demonstrating that at the awards.”
