The Scottish Government helped almost 7000 workers facing redundancy back in to jobs last year. Business Minister Fergus Ewing says the Partnership Action for Continuing Employment has helped 70,000 workers and almost 1700 employers since it was set up five years ago. Mr Ewing says: "There are few things more ghastly than being put on the dole, being made redundant, getting a P45. PACE is a team of agencies that work together to provide people with the help and practical support they need to get back into work."
