Schoolboy taken to hospital after being hit by car in Paisley

A 10-year-old boy's been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car outside a primary school in Paisley.
It happened shortly before 9 this morning on Lochfield Road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50am on Friday, 23 June, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a 10-year-old boy on Lochfield Road, Paisley.
“The boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.”
