Rutherglen gang attack garden worker in broad daylight
A man has been seriously injured after being attack by an armed gang while he worked in a garden in Rutherglen.

The 30 year-old and a colleague were assaulted by five or six men around 1.30pm on Saturday in Brownsdale Road.
He was taken to hospital and later released - the other man managed to escape.
The only description of the group of men responsible at this time is that they were wearing dark coloured clothing.
Enquiries are continuing to gather more information on the men responsible, and Detective Constable Stewart Walton of Cambuslang Police Office is appealing to anyone who was in the area of Brownsdale Road around the time of the incident on Saturday afternoon and saw this group of men, or witnessed the assault to come forward.
