Runner attacked in Glasgow's Victoria Park

A 50-year old man has been attacked in Victoria Park in Glasgow.

It happened around 7.40am on Wednesday 9 December near to the pond within the park.

The man was running when he became involved in an argument with a stranger. A short time later while running next to the pond, the 50-year old was physically assaulted by the same man.

He was uninjured from the attack and didn't need any treatment.

The suspect is described as being a white man in his thirties, around 6ft tall and at the time of the incident was wearing dark clothing. He was accompanied by a white woman who was also in dark clothing and a large dog with a blue flashing collar.
