Rucksack Of Missing Lanarkshire Man Found

A rucksack's been found in Glen Nevis in the search for a Lanarkshire man missing for more than a week.

Tom Brown was last seen leaving his home address on Wednesday 1st July.

The 65 year old is known to have checked in at the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel at around 17:30 hrs the following day.

His rucksack and contents were found about 1 kilometre east of Steall Falls.

Mr Brown is described as 5 ft 10 in height, of stocky build with grey/brown bush hair and eyebrows.

If anyone has information regarding Mr Brown's whereabouts, or may have seen someone fitting his description whilst out walking in the Glen Nevis area they are being urged to contact police on 101.
