Around 85,000 revellers are believed to have turned up to Scotland's newest music festival, TRNSMT.
The Kooks, George Ezra and Kasabian are among those entertaining 50,000 music fans on the sold-out Saturday.
Shades and sunblock were a must for many of those attending the event on Glasgow Green, with temperatures peaking at 17C.
Geoff Ellis, festival director of TRNSMT, said: “Yesterday marked the first day of TRSNMT festival and the atmosphere was electric - we fully expect today to be no different.
“The festival is already well under way, with an incredible mix of home-grown and big name acts already taking to the stages.
“Excitement is building for our headliners, the fantastic Kasabian, who will close the main stage tonight with an undoubtedly energetic performance.”
Around 35,000 people descended on Glasgow Green on Friday for the opening day.
One arrest has been made so far and the Scottish Ambulance Service have had no serious injuries to deal with.
The three-day event runs over the same weekend usually taken up by T In The Park, which organiser DF Concerts announced last November would “take a break” in 2017.
Festival-goer Olivia Carswell said: “I went to T in the Park last year, this is much better.”
Saturday's showing also includes big names such as Stormzy, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Circa Waves and Cabbage.
Fans on Friday were able to see bands such as London Grammar, Belle And Sebastian and headliners Radiohead.
Security was tight after recent terror attacks in the UK but the atmosphere was praised.
The event finishes on Sunday, with acts such as The View, local band Twin Atlantic, Two Door Cinema Club and headliners Biffy Clyro.
Chief Inspector Simon Jeacocke, Event Commander for Police Scotland, said: “Friday's audience was great, with no arrests and a wonderful atmosphere all round - and we're pleased to report only one arrest so far today.
“We're expecting higher numbers for Saturday so we'd like to remind people to plan their journeys in advance, be patient and be aware of what can't be brought on site.
“Our drugs dogs are working again today, so we would like to remind those attending that there is a zero tolerance approach to drugs.
“We continue to have an armed presence outside Glasgow Green for everyone's safety and security.
