Rangers have identified and banned supporters involved in a racist video targeting Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi.

The Ibrox side have acted swiftly to find those taking part in offensive songs and gestures aimed at the Japan international.

They say individuals involved have now been banned indefinitely while the supporters' club they were members of will not be allowed to receive tickets for future fixtures.

A club statement said: "Rangers can confirm that an investigation is now complete in regard to a video circulating on social media yesterday.

"The individuals involved have been identified and will be banned indefinitely from all Rangers games.

"Furthermore, the RSC of which they were members and travelled with to the game, have been banned from receiving tickets for future fixtures".

Police Scotland are also liaising with Rangers over the footage.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Police Scotland is aware of a video circulating on social media and officers are liaising with the club to make relevant enquiries."
