Rail Worker Hurt In Airgun Attack
48 year old man treated for a leg wound after he was shot at High Bonnybridge, Falkirk
A railway worker was treated for a leg wound after being shot with an airgun.
The contractor appears to have been targeted while at work in High Bonnybridge, Falkirk, yesterday.
British Transport Police (BTP) is appealing for information after the attack at about 8am.
The 48-year-old man was working in the Greenhill area when he felt a sudden pain in his leg.
He was treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary before being released.
Detective Constable Andrew Egan said: "This was a completely random attack on someone at their work.
"Anyone who has information regarding who was responsible should contact BTP as a matter of urgency.''
