Radio Clyde's Cassi has made the Platinum Jubilee party at Woodside Primary in Hamilton extra special with a 1 hour DJ set.

Pupils had a dance with their teachers in the sports pitch and tucked into sausage rolls, pizza and cake for the special occasion.

Zac told Clyde 1: "It's the best day ever.

"We haven't had a party at school in over two years because of the pandemic."

The corridors and the playground were full of red, white and blue bunting to mark 70 years of Her Majesty being on the throne.

Ivy said: "I like the Queen because she is pretty and I've made a red crown and I love the look of it.

Julie added: "My favourite song of the day has to be Yes Sir I Can Boogie."
