Pro-Palestinian campaigners in Glasgow are telling us they no longer support Australian singer Nick Cave after his decision to continue performing in Israel.

A handful gathered outside his gig at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow last night - condemning his position over the war in Gaza.

Marie Irvine told Clyde 1: "I couldn't listen to his music anymore and I think he is a hypocrite.

"Many of his sons are about justice and it makes my stomach churn now.

"We've been met with a mixed reaction here tonight with some people calling us anti-Semitic which is not the case at all.

"We have got Jewish people who protest with us against the war in Gaza."

Security staff kept the protestors separated from fans queuing to get into the gig.

Marie Shepherd said: "I've been to see Nick Cave plenty of times and his music is still very powerful.

"I just can't separate the music from the artist and his views anymore, not when so many Palestinian people are suffering in this war."

We've approached Nick Cave's management for a response.
