Pro-Palestinian demonstrators close down Zara in Glasgow
Staff and customers were locked inside for two hours.
Staff and customers in Zara on Buchanan Street in Glasgow were trapped inside earlier after pro-Palestinian demonstrators lined up outside.
The store was put into lockdown when they arrived with banners and flags in a row over the company's latest advertising campaign.
Images on social media showed a mannequin wrapped white with limbs lying on the floor.
Fatima Ahmed was one of them and told Clyde 1: "It is disappointing that people want to get a little top from Zara when this advertising campaign was out of touch.
"It's disgusting and people shouldn't be so selfish."
The adverts on Zara's website and social media have all been taken down.
In a statement they said: "Unfortunately, some customers felt offended by these images, which have now been removed, and saw in them something far from what was intended when they were created.
"Zara regrets that misunderstanding and we reaffirm our deep respect towards everyone."
