He will also be given a tour of Glasgow School of Art whose historic Mackintosh building was damaged by a fire last year.
Charles will be joined by the Duchess of Cornwall at the Clutha bar where a police helicopter crashed through its roof on November 29 2013.
The Prince visited the site in the days after the crash where he spoke to survivors and emergency workers and signed the city's book of condolence.
He will return with Camilla today to meet a number of people who have been involved in the restoration of the bar including fundraisers from the Clutha Trust, a charity working to support young people in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Charles will also visit the city's art school, of which he is patron, where he will learn about the plans for restoring the fire-hit building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh more than a century ago.
It was on May 23 last year, as students were preparing for their degree shows, when flames engulfed the Grade A-listed building, with its prized Mackintosh Library being one of the main casualties.
The royal couple, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, will carry out a series of other engagements in the city.
Camilla will join a Credit Union Fair at the Trades Hall of Glasgow while Charles will visit the Arnold Clark motor group where he will meet graduates and new apprentice recruits who are participating in a Prince's Trust programme.
He will also open the Innovation Centre at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital as he visits the intensive care and orthopaedic units where he will meet patients, volunteers and staff.
They will both then attend the inaugural Dumfries House Dog Show in Ayrshire to watch a number of the dog classes and tour the stalls.
