Sixth man charged with Port Dundas attempted murder

A sixth man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a man in north Glasgow last year.

Peter Bain, 44, allegedly carried out the murder bid on Steven Daniel in May last year in the Port Dundas area of the city.

He appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he made no plea or declaration.

Bain was remanded in custody and is expected to appear again next week.

Andrew Sinclair and Michael Bennett, both 30, as well as Robert Bennett, who's 27, Brian Ferguson, who's 35, and 34-year-old John Hardie have already appeared in court on the same charge.
