Hunt for driver of overturned lorry in Pollok, which left passenger seriously injured

It happened on Brockburn Road around 5.10pm on Thursday.

Police are hunting for the driver of a lorry which overturned in the Pollok area of Glasgow.

The passenger is in a serious condition in hospital after the crash on Brockburn Road that happened around 5.10pm on Thursday.

The 48-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains for treatment.

Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.

Road Policing Constable Graeme Wilson said:

“Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver of the vehicle and to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident."

I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen this crash or have any information to please contact us."

“I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cam to check their footage for anything that could assist us."

“Anyone with information is urged to contact 101 quoting reference number 2693 of 21 March.”
