Police investigate violent robbery in man's home in Greenock

Police are hunting ''violent'' robbers who forced their way into their victim's home in a late-night raid.
Two men stole personal possessions from a 37-year-old after gaining entry to his house in Florence Street, Greenock, at about 11pm on Friday.
Police Scotland said both offenders were described as being in their mid to late 30s, with one dressed all in black while the other was wearing grey clothing.
Detective Sergeant Euan Keil, from Greenock CID, said: ''This was a violent attack that occurred within the victim's home and it is vital that we apprehend those responsible.
An extensive police investigation into the circumstances surrounding this robbery is ongoing and we are currently examining CCTV footage and carrying out house-to-house inquiries.'
