Police searching for three men after assault on Glassford Street

Pictures of the men have been released by officers after the January incident

Police in Glasgow say are searching for three men they believe could help with enquiries into an assault on Glassford Street earlier this year.

The incident took place on Friday 5 January at around 10pm.

The first person is a white male, around 18-22 years old, of slim to medium build with dark hair. He was wearing a black skip cap, grey jogging bottoms, a black jacket with black and blue trainers.

The second man is also white, and of a slim to medium build with dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket with black bottoms and orange Nike trainers.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward

The third male is of the same age and build, with dark hair. He was wearing a green tracksuit with a blue top underneath and black trainers.

Detective Constable Larissa Cooper said “I would urge the males pictured or anyone who may recognise them or has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3689 of 5 January 2024. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
