Body found in search for missing pensioner James Clark
The 82-year-old disappeared on Saturday evening
A body has been found in Lanarkshire in the search for a missing 82-year-old man.
James Clark was last seen at Orchard House Care home in Crossford around 6.20pm on Saturday night.
Police said that formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of Mr Clark has been informed.
In a social media statement, Police Scotland Lanarkshire said:
"Around 12.45pm on Monday, 3 April, the body of a man was discovered near the Crossford area in Lanarkshire.
There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
