Police release images as they search for bogus workmen

Detectives at Clydebank have released images of two men they want to speak to as they believe they may be able to help with their enquiries in relation to a bogus caller incident.

It happened between Monday, August 3 and Friday, August 7, at Freelands Crescent, Old Kilpatrick.

The first male is described as white, wearing a black zipper hooded top, black baseball cap with a white logo on the front, beige bottoms, and a black face mask.

The second male is described as white, wearing a dark blue gilet, grey t-shirt, black cargo trousers with grey patches, beige shoes, yellow baseball cap, and a white face mask.

Detective Constable Imran Abuzar, of Clydebank Police Station, said: “We are continuing enquiries in the area and gathering more information on this incident. We are particularly keen to speak to the two males in the images as they may be able to assist police with enquiries.

"I am urging anyone who recognises the males, or who has information that will assist our investigation to contact detectives at Clydebank through 101 quoting reference number 1019 of 7th August 2020.

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
