Police release CCTV images of two men after robbery in Dunbartonshire

The Co-op on Argyll Street in Alexandria was held-up at knifepoint back in January

Detectives hunting two men after an armed robbery in Dunbartonshire have released CCTV images.

The Co-op on Argyll Street in Alexandria was held-up at knifepoing on Monday, 4 January just before 10pm.

The pair made off with a four figure sum of cash.

The first man is described as wearing a black balaclava, black hooded top, light blue ripped denims and white trainers. He had a dark coloured rucksack in his possession. The second man is described as wearing a black balaclava, dark hooded top or jacket, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Grainger, the officer in charge of this investigation, said:

“I believe that someone may have seen these men immediately before or after the incident and may have thought nothing of it at the time but any information we receive could be crucial.
