Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man officers wish to trace in connection with an ongoing investigation into a serious assault in Glasgow City Centre.

Around 3am on Friday 13 January, an 18 year-old man was seriously assaulted in Sauchiehall Street, near to Dalhousie Street. He was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was released after receiving treatment for serious injuries.

Detectives believe that the man shown in the images may have information that could assist them with their investigation and would appeal to him or anyone who recognises the man to contact police.

He is described as a white male aged between 20-30 years old, around 5ft 10”, medium build, wearing dark skinny jeans with rips, blue jacket and blue top with a light coloured pattern.
