Police seal off area near to Glasgow park after person found injured

It happened at 1pm this afternoon and police remain at the scene.

Police have sealed off an area near to Queen's Park on Pollokshaws Road in the southside of Glasgow this afternoon.

It's after a person was found injured there at around 1pm.

Witnesses say they saw five police cars and two ambulances at the scene.

Police are still in attendance and are carrying out enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1pm on Thursday, 8 July, 2021 officers were made aware of a person found injured on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.

"Officers are currently in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
