Police probe as taxi driver's takings stolen in knife attack
A taxi driver had his takings for the day stolen after being attacked by a man brandishing a knife in Glasgow.
The 64-year-old man had just dropped off a customer in Syrium Street, Springburn, at about 5.45pm on Thursday.
Police said the victim was approached by a man while sitting in his taxi, who attacked him with a knife and stole a small amount of money.
The victim suffered minor injuries but declined treatment at the scene.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, thin and with shiny brown hair which was combed over to one side.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
