A man who died following a collision involving a van and a lorry has been named by police.

Scott McCallum, 36, from Glasgow, was driving a white Mercedes Sprinter van which was in collision with an articulated lorry yesterday.

The crash happened on the northbound carriageway of the A90 near Kinfauns Castle, between Perth and Dundee, at about 3.10pm.

Police Scotland said that Mr McCallum's family are upset at their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.

Officers appealed for anyone who may have seen a white Mercedes Sprinter van travelling west on the A90 before the crash to contact Police Scotland on 101.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal, as is the case with all sudden deaths.
