Police Make Arrest After Man Injured in Car Incident
A man has been arrested after another man was seriously injured when a car was allegedly deliberately driven at him.
The 34-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI) after the incident in Kerr Street in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow on Saturday evening.
Police said a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Officers are still investigating the attempted murder of a 38-year-old man during the same disturbance in Kerr Street.
The 38-year-old was taken to GRI after he was assaulted during the incident.
Detectives are also continuing inquiries into an earlier incident in which a 29-year-old man was seriously assaulted near the bandstand at Bridgeton Cross.
Following the attack at about 8.10pm, he was taken to the same hospital for treatment to neck and facial injuries.
Officers have said they believe the incidents are linked.
