Police look for man and woman in fraud investigation
The alleged scam happened in Aberdeen, but the pair are believed to be from Glasgow
Police Scotland have released photographs of a man and a woman they want to speak to about a fraud investigation.
It happened on Tuesday, August the 11th in Aberdeen, but officers believe the pair are from the Tollcross area of Glasgow.
Detective Constable Mark McKenzie, of North East Division, said: "I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man and woman in these photographs to please contact us as soon as possible as they may have information which could assist us. Likewise, I would appeal to them directly to get in touch.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting CF0183530820 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."
There has been a huge rise in the number of fraud cases reported to police compared to last year, as scammers take advantage of the pandemic.
