Police are investigating after a man was seriously assaulted in Glasgow's East End last night.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Radio Clyde News:

"Around 7.10pm on Saturday, 8 October, 2022, police received a report a man had been seriously assaulted in Shettleston Road, Glasgow.

"Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
