Police hunting for a missing man have discovered a body.
Police hunting for a missing man have discovered a body.
Michael McCurdy, 59, went missing from his home in Wren Road, Greenock, Inverclyde, on Saturday December 19.
The body of a man was found today in a wooded area near Glamis Drive, around a quarter of a mile from his home.
A statement from Police Scotland Inverclyde division said: Although formal identification has yet to take place, police believe that it is Michael McCurdy and his relatives have been informed.
There would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.''
