Police hunt men who torched and vandalised cars at Clydebank Garage

One car was set on fire and several others were damaged

Two men set a car ablaze and vandalised four others at a Clydebank dealer's showroom before fleeing the scene.

Detectives are appealing for information following the incident at Arnold Clark in Great Western Road.

Two men entered the yard and set a Nissan Qashqai on fire at around 11pm on Tuesday,

They then vandalised four other vehicles before leaving the West Dunbartonshire premises at around midnight.

Detective Sergeant Alan Macdougall, from Clydebank CID, said: “Inquiries are under way to trace these two reckless individuals and officers are currently examining CCTV as well as speaking to people in the area.

“I would appeal to anyone who was near to the Arnold Clark garage on Tuesday night, and may have noticed two men acting suspiciously, to please get in touch.”
