Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a religiously-aggravated assault on a woman shopping with a child.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a religiously-aggravated assault on a woman shopping with a child.
The 27-year-old victim was in the Thistle Shopping Centre in Stirling when the incident happened at around 2.45pm on Monday April 18.
She was with a young child when she was targeted near the Sports Direct store in the mall.
The woman was not physically injured but was "deeply offended and upset" by what happened.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV images they have released may be able to help with their inquiries.
He is described as aged between 18 and 20, around 5ft 11in, white, of slim build and with black hair.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket and black trousers.
Sergeant Robert Russell said: "While the victim was not physically injured, she was deeply offended and upset by this incident. We are keen to trace the male in the CCTV footage and would ask anyone who can assist us to contact police immediately.
"Anyone with further information relevant to this investigation is also asked to get in touch."
