Police crack-down for Old Firm clash
450 police officers will be out patrolling at Sunday's Scottish Cup semi final between Rangers and Celtic.
Police Scotland say there will be 450 officers involved patrolling at the Old Firm match on Sunday.
The force have told Clyde News anything of a criminal nature at the Scottish Cup semi final between Rangers and Celtic will be looked at and dealt with and that includes retrospective investigations.
Their message is do not bring flares to the match as they will not be tolerated and are dangerous for the crowd.
They will also target known domestic abusers in the run-up to the derby.
Officers have already visited people with a history of abuse as they said history shows a rise in drink-fuelled violence around an Old Firm tie.
Known abusers have been issued warnings ahead of the match, while those with outstanding warrants will be arrested.
Police have also been to pubs to "offer safety advice" and visited "known violent offenders" who pose a risk of disorder.
